You are on my homepage currently but off to the left are links to my class pages and other information. At the bottom of this page are links to other sites you might be looking for. Be sure to look there if you do not see what you need on the left. If you have come to this page seeking classroom lesson plans and/or assignments, you will need to go to Canvas. If you have a username and password and are a member of one of my classes, you will have access to the unit plans and work taking place in the classroom.
Philosophy of Education
- Each student who enters my classroom is an individual with his/her own unique skills and talents. I strive to challenge students and watch them grow to their full potential while meeting them where their skills lie.
- Learning is transferrable. It needs to be long-term, meaning it needs to be something that students will use not necessarily just in my classroom but beyond.
- Learning also needs to involve a cognitive change.
- Students need to be provided learning experiences that will enable them to effectively use what was learned one day and apply the learning different situations another day.
Learning = Meaningful & Transferrable
