The mission of Sioux Central Preschool, a partnership of school staff, parents, and community, is to prepare students to develop maximum knowledge and skills to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. This will be accomplished by recognizing the value of each individual child and promoting academic and social growth in a challenging and caring environment.
A child is eligible to enroll in preschool if your child is 3 years old on or before September 15 of the current school year for the 3 year-old program or 4 years old on or before September 15 of the current school year for the 4 year-old program. Registration materials are available in the Sioux Central Elementary office and pre-registration starts in the spring.
The preschool center is open Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM and follows the Sioux Central Community School District.
The goal of the preschool program is to promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth for the children and prepare them for future growth and development. We strive for students to be enthusiastice and curious learners and to be safe and healthy.
