Kueny Boys Take On National History Day at the State Competition
Jacob and Nathan Kueny advanced to the state competition for National History Day last month, and they were able to present their documentaries in Des Moines Monday, April 29. They did a fabulous job representing Sioux Central! Nathan competed in the Junior Individual Documentary category, and although he didn’t advance to finals, he was awarded the Iowa Resource Special Award. Jacob competed in the Senior Individual Documentary category and was fortunate to make it into the finals. He was then awarded one of the two spots to represent Iowa (and Sioux Central) in Washington, DC at the National Competition in June. This is a a really great honor for the school to have a student make it to nationals! Thanks for representing Sioux Central gentlemen!
