Welcome to the Sioux Central Technology and Media Center, your central resource for learning, digital tools, and discovery. Serving students from PreK through 12th grade, we support access to both technology and literacy in a connected, modern learning environment.

Technology at Sioux Central

Located just outside of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Sioux Central is a 1:1 school district, providing every student with access to a learning device. Students in grades 6–12 are able to take their devices home to continue learning beyond the classroom.

The Technology Department manages:

• Network infrastructure and security

• MacBook Airs for all staff

• 240 iPads, 500+ Chromebooks, and 12+ Windows PCs for student use

• Tech support, filtering, and deployment for students, teachers, and staff

We also collaborate with the district’s Tech Integrationist to support innovative, interactive learning programs that enhance classroom experiences.
