WELCOME TO SIOUX CENTRAL REGISTRATION 2025-2026
Whether you're new to our Rebel family or a returning student, we're excited to have you with us! Below you'll find everything you need to register your student for the upcoming school year, including online forms, key dates, and contact information.
Enrolling your Student:
Returning Students: Complete E-Registration through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. This must be done every year for each student in your household. E-Registration opens August 11.
To complete E-Registration:
Log in to PowerSchool.
Click “Forms” in the left-hand menu.
Select “Enrollment” at the top and complete all listed forms.
If you’ve forgotten your username, contact the school technology office. Passwords can be reset using the "Reset Password" link.
New Students to the District: Start by completing the New Student Pre-Registration Form. Once approved, you’ll receive an email with instructions to set up a PowerSchool account. After that, you must attend in-person registration on August 11. Please bring only one adult per household.
Payments: Use SchoolPay to pay for registration, lunch, and other fees online.
Additional Forms: Check the sidebar for any additional forms your student may need.
For questions about academics, activities, or athletics, call the Sioux Central office at 712-283-2571 and select the appropriate school.

Kindergarten Students:

To enroll in kindergarten, children must be 5 years old on or before September 15.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK):
Offered based on space and preschool recommendation. Must be age 5 by September 15.
Preschool Students:
Birth Certificate

Physical Form
Enrollment Form
Lead Test
Field Trip & Video Permission Form (see sidebar)
Optional: Free/Reduced Lunch Application (see below)
Preschool is available for 3- and 4-year-olds who meet the age cutoff (Sept 15). Classes are held Monday–Thursday, 8:00AM - 3:30PM.
