2026-2027 Athlete Registration is now open!
All families are required to register their 7-12 children for athletics in the Bound app, upload their physicals, and sign the concussion waiver form before they are allowed to participate in athletics for the 2026-2027 school year. Fall sports are just around the corner and begin on August 10th. Be sure to schedule your physicals and register your student athletes before then!

As we get closer to the start of the 2026-2027 school year, here’s another look at our School Year at a Glance.
One important reminder for families: Secondary students (Grades 6-12) begin school on Monday, August 24, while Elementary students (Grades PK-5) begin on Tuesday, August 25.
Save or screenshot the calendar for a quick reference to school days, breaks, conferences, holidays, and more throughout the year.

Dear Sioux Central Community,
As we gear up for another fantastic school year, I wanted to share a few quick updates before our return on August 24th.
When school starts the week of the 24th, the building will look a bit different, and not everything will be in its original place. Our new spaces will not be accessible right away, but please rest assured: despite any rumors you might hear, Sioux Central will be ready! I will communicate details regarding a Soft Opening and keep the public updated as those new areas open up.
Although this wasn't a typical summer at SC, tremendous progress was made. Our custodial team worked like rockstars to get the building prepped, and our teachers are fully prepared to welcome our students back.
We are incredibly excited and cannot wait to see everyone in a few short weeks!

First, we would like to remind all parents to register their students for which activities they are going to be involved in. Also, we had some issues with the concussion forms on BOUND and Friday we had to reset all the accounts. If you had signed your concussion form on BOUND before Friday, please go back in and check that it is completed-you may have to re-submit it. If you have any issues please try to log completely out of your account and then log back in to refresh it. Thank you for your patience as we make this transition.
If you ordered graduation pictures they are in. They can be picked up in the high school office.
Breakfast will be FREE for all Sioux Central students throughout the entire first semester and is served from 7:50 - 8:30 a.m. The free breakfast program will be evaluated after Christmas break to determine whether it will continue into the second semester.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications are also now available! Families who may qualify are encouraged to complete an application and return it to the school office as soon as possible. Applications are available in the school office or online through our school website.
Completing an application may help your family receive additional meal benefits. It also helps support valuable programs and funding for our school!

There will be an informational meeting for students interested in being involved (cast and/or crew) on Thursday, August 27th at 3:45 and 5:30. Please plan to attend the time that works best for you.
Auditions will be Tuesday, September 1st from 3:45-8:00 and Wednesday, September 2nd from 3:45-6:30.

Join the Booster Club! Volunteers are needed to support our athletes in grades 7–12. Reach out to Melany or Jen with any questions or to sign up. Help as little or as much as you wish! No financial contribution is needed. You can help hand out food or grill before football games, attend meetings to help decide how to financially support our athletes and teams, or take on a leadership role in one of several fundraising events. Go Rebels!
