This week, our FCCLA members had a great time attending the Fall Leadership Rally! Members had the chance to meet students from other schools, grow their leadership skills, and learn more about all the opportunities FCCLA has to offer.
Several of our members also participated in Iowa Events, including the Charcuterie Board Challenge, Children’s Literature, Grilled Cheese Challenge, Spirit Wear, and Trendy Drink Challenge! 🎉

Sioux Central is seeking a High School Head Baseball Coach for the 2026–2027 school year!
We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about baseball, developing student-athletes, and building a strong, positive program.
The Head Coach will lead the varsity baseball program, including practices, game strategy, player development, assistant coaches, equipment and travel coordination, and more. This role will also focus on helping student-athletes grow through teamwork, sportsmanship, academics, and character.
Qualifications:
• Current Iowa coaching authorization or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the season
• Baseball coaching knowledge and experience preferred

Elementary students have two more mornings to purchase tattoos for Tattoo a Teacher: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00–8:30 AM, near the Elementary Lost & Found. Space Settlement team members will be selling them. The event takes place Friday during the PBIS Celebration, and proceeds support the Space Settlement Design Team’s competition travel and materials.

This year’s theme is Movies & Television, so bring your favorite story to life! Enter a decorated float, vehicle, walking group, farm equipment, or another creative entry. You can also help make the parade even better by sponsoring a float!
Planning to hand out candy or other fun items along the route? We highly encourage it! Let’s fill the streets, celebrate our community, and make this a Homecoming parade our Rebels will remember!
Lineup will begin on Front Street in front of City Hall. The parade will travel east on Main Street to the pool and return west on Blake Street.
