Sioux Central was selected to host the HS state qualifying track meet on May 14th. Due to this, and a start time of 4:00 p.m., we will be running an early out schedule with school dismissing at 2:15 p.m. Please plan accordingly.
Behind every smooth school day, every solved problem, and every moment that keeps Sioux Central moving forward, there is leadership like this. Today we celebrate our incredible principals, Mrs. Schmidt and Mrs. Christensen, for the vision, heart, and dedication they bring to our school every single day. From the first bell to the final goodbyes, they lead with purpose, navigate every challenge, and keep our school moving forward with strength and heart. Your impact reaches far beyond the office. You shape our students, support our staff, and set the tone for what it means to lead well. #SiouxCentralRebels #RebelsOnDuty

BV County Conservation Poster Contest Winners
Congratulations to our students who were recognized in the Buena Vista County Conservation Poster Contest. This year’s theme, “Soil: Where It All Begins,” highlights the importance of the ground beneath our feet and the role it plays in everything we grow and sustain. Recognition goes to Jorden Anderson for earning 1st Place and receiving a plane ride experience.
We are proud of all our winners and participants for their creativity, hard work, and thoughtful messages about conservation. See the attached photo for all students who were recognized. #SiouxCentralRebels #BuildingRebels #NoOrdinaryRebels

I wanted to provide an update to the community on the auditorium project. Things have been
progressing; the schedule is a little behind based on the original projections, but the crew is working
very hard to continue making progress.
We have seen some great progress and will see more in the near future. We are starting to see some
finishes in certain areas of the new addition and much progress on the other areas. The main
passway will begin the week after we dismiss for the summer; the crews will be hard at work
preparing the passway for entry in the fall. We are super excited to see the continued progress. I will
post additional photos of the progress once we continue seeing these finishes take place in the new
addition.
Thank you,
Mr.Wood

Last week, 8 of our Sioux Central middle school students participated in the NWICDA 5-7 Honor Choir hosted at MOC-Floyd Valley!
It was a wonderful day full of music-making, new friendships, and learning alongside other talented singers from Northwest Iowa. The day wrapped up with an energetic concert that showcased all of their hard work.
These students represented the Sioux Central Music Department so well, and we are incredibly proud of them!
Congratulations to our middle school honor choir participants: Paxton Greene, Brantley Lauderback, Bentlee Tewes, Kensley Vazquez, Livia Wendel, Aryanna Lau, Agnes Alfred, and Lauren Patten.

If you’ve ever made it to school on time, there’s a really good chance you can thank a bus driver.
Early mornings, long routes, all kinds of weather; they show up every day with a smile (and a whole lot of patience).
They learn names, they look out for kids, they make sure everyone gets where they need to go safely.
That matters more than we probably say out loud.
So today, we just want to say 'Thank you'.
We appreciate everything you do for our students and our school. #SiouxCentralRebels
