I wanted to update the community on our current Covid-19 cases. We currently have 2 positive student cases and 7 students in quarantine. We do not have any positive staff cases as of 3:45 today . Go Rebels!

The JH girls basketball game for today with HLP has been cancelled. It will not be made up. Stay safe.
The JV/V G/B basketball games for tonight (1/19/21) in Emmetsburg have been postponed due to weather/road conditions.
No tickets needed for HS BB games tonight in Emmetsburg. Please wear masks and respect social distancing guidelines. Students MS and under in age need to be with an adult. Games will be streamed at https://bit.ly/ehawksportsyoutube

There are no restrictions on attendance for the JVR/JV boys basketball games in Milford tonight. Admission is $3 per person.
There are no restrictions on spectators at West Bend tonight for the HS wrestling meet. Please be respective of other attending by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
#SiouxCentral will be hosting District Large Group Speech on Wednesday, January 20. Performances start at 4:45 in the library, but it's advisable to come early for performances you specifically want to watch.

Just a reminder that attendance for the conference wrestling tournament tomorrow is by ticket only. Each participating wrestler is allowed two spectators to watch them wrestle.
Correction...the JV/V girls games from last night vs. PAC will be played on Monday, Jan. 18th NOT the 28th. I apologize for the confusion.
Updates on activities...JV/V G game from last night will now be played on Monday, 1/28. JVR/JV boys games from last night are cancelled. V G/B for tonight have been moved to 1/28. JH G BB for today @ Newell will be 1/22. Wrestling still on for tomorrow.
There will be No School Friday, January 15 ,2020 at Sioux Central due to inclement weather. Curl up and read a book and stay safe.
School will be dismissing at 12:30 PM today due to weather. All after school practices and evening activities are cancelled as well. Students will eat lunch before they leave. Be Safe.

Reminder...Senior night will be tomorrow night for our senior wrestlers, managers, and cheerleaders. We will introduce them, and their parents, in between the first and second matches, approximately 7:00 p.m. Please meet at the NW doors of the gym after end of the first match.
