Parents with students who will be in 7th and 12th grade next year, be aware that there are immunizations that are required BEFORE THEY CAN ATTEND SCHOOL NEXT FALL.
To assist you in getting this taken care of, Clay County Public Health will be at Sioux Central School on Wednesday March 26, 2025 to administer these vaccines to the students who have not yet fulfilled this requirement. Iowa Law requires the Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines for incoming 7th grade and a second Meningococal vaccine for incoming 12th grade. Please be watching for paperwork to arrive to your home in the next week. This paperwork needs to be signed and returned to school no later than Friday, March 21st.
The open enrollment deadline for Iowa schools for the 2025–2026 school year and beyond is March 1, 2025. Open Enrollment is the process by which a parent or guardian residing in an Iowa district may enroll their child(ren) into another Iowa school district. The Speech Fundraiser Krispy Kreme donuts have arrived! Students will be delivering them this evening or tomorrow!
**Unfortunately the coffee and certificates were not included with our order, so we are working with the store to get those here and in your hands as soon as possible!
We do have a few extra donuts that we will sell individually tomorrow, Friday, February 21st at school! $2 per donut!
