Sioux Central FCCLA had a great State Conference in Cedar Rapids, IA the past 3 days! Students competed in STAR events, attended workshops, were recognized for their events, met new students from across the state, and had lots of fun. Here are a few highlights from our trip: ⭐️️Nora Christian and Marley Madsen received a Bronze in Focus on the Children for making mittens and blankets and donating to the local daycare center ⭐Kennedy Brown, Sarah Phillips, and Caitlin Wildeman received a Silver in Focus on the Children by making pillowcases and donating them to the preschool.️ ⭐ Lauren Holm received a silver medal and participated in the professional presentation on sugars. ⭐️⭐️ Haylea Tillman competed in Leadership, received a Silver medal, and has an opportunity to travel to Orlando, FL this July to compete at the National FCCLA Conference!! Sioux Central was well represented by these students! Way to “Reach for the Stars”!🌟
