Speech class welcomed into our classroom today via Zoom Kristi McHugh. Kristi is originally from NW Iowa but now lives on the West Coast. She shared her humor, her experiences, and her wisdom with the kids! Another great presentation for the kids.
Congratulations to Kasey Krager for being nominated and selected as KICD Big Country 107 Hard-Working Hero this week. He will receive the Hard Workin’ Hero coffee mug and then be in the first quarter drawing for the $250 cash prize. He was nominated by the 5th Grade Girls Basketball players and their parents. Sioux Central's Ag Ed Dept will receive a STEM BEST grant; the $40,000 award will be put toward a greenhouse and ag literacy initiatives.
The Junior Class will be pre-selling Valentine Carnations during the basketball games January 31 and February 2. $5.00 per carnation to be delivered 8th hour on Valentine's Day.

All flowers will include your choice of Valentine card and will be delivered 8th hour on Valentine's Day.
