I have heard several concerns surrounding the online ticketing system. The online ticketing system will take place at all home events and most away events. I want to ensure our Sioux Central Community that we will help with the transition and make it as smooth as we possibly can. We will have scanning devices at the gate if you do not already have an activity ticket or punch card, this will help you obtain an online ticket for the event. If you do not have a smartphone, we will help you through this process. We encourage patrons to purchase a punch card or an activity pass at discounted prices through the school. We are here to help.

Football Cheerleaders will be hosting a TK-5th grade Little Rebel Cheer camp on September 28, with a performance during half-time of the football game on September 29. Reminder that all Sioux Central students in grades 9-12 get FREE admission to all HOME sporting events this school year.
The Twin Lakes Conference, and district football, voted to raise ticket prices for varsity events beginning with the 23-24 school year. Varsity contests will now cost $8 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. In addition, Sioux Central has decided to go to online ticketing for all junior high and high school events. Activity passes will be treated as they have been in the past. If possible, please have your activity ticket, or a picture of it, with you at the gate.
Through online ticketing, the Sioux Central School District will incur the processing fee, which in turn, will keep the final cost of the tickets at $8/$5. There will also be a way to purchase tickets at the gate if you choose not to pre-purchase your ticket. We at Sioux Central appreciate your past and continued support of our athletic programs. A reminder it's our Open House Back to School BBQ tonight, Monday, August 21, from 5:30-7:00 p.m (free will donation). We have decided to move it inside due to the heat. 6-12 grade can meet their teachers, get their schedules, and drop off their school supplies, Elementary students should wait to bring anything until their Welcome Back Conference on Wednesday or Thursday (if you haven't signed up, be sure to do so), but please come hang out with all your teachers and enjoy dinner and socializing. We are so excited for an AWESOME 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR! #REBELPRIDE

Required Vaccinations for incoming 7th graders ( T-dap and Meningitis)and 12th graders (2nd Meningitis) need to be obtained before they can start school. Please get this done ASAP. Questions call school nurse, Marikay at 712-283-2571.
REMINDER: Our Sioux Central community will be offering Free Back-to-School Haircuts for SC students in need in PK-12 grade on Saturday, August 19th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We ask that families with last names A-L come from 9-00-11:00 a.m. and last names M-Z 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.. The haircuts will be given in downtown Sioux Rapids at Christy's Salon (Christy Driver) and The Salon on Main (Cassidy Beek and Audrey Nicol). We will get in as many as we can in this time frame and add another date if necessary. We ask that you come with clean hair if possible. There will not be time for shampooing, styling, etc. SEE YOU THERE!
