We are sponsoring a pep bus for the reg BB final in Spencer. Cost is $2 +ticket (required to have digitally) and is open to 6th-12th grades. Greetings friends and community members of the Sioux Central School District! Sioux Central is hosting Individual District Speech Contest on February 24th, 2024, and we are still looking for volunteers to help make this event run smoothly. Various roles to be filled including room chairs (introduce performers and time selections), Door monitors (usher contestants and spectators in and out of the room and monitor hallway volume levels), Runners (collecting ballots, helping judges get around the building, and posting ratings), and Entry Tables (accept entry donations and sell programs). These are very easy jobs and anyone can fill! If you are available and interested in helping the school host this fine arts event, (20 other schools with a total of 28 teams will be here!) please click on the link below to sign-up for a shift. You can email Alyssa Rusk (arusk@siouxcentral.org) with any questions. We would love to have you supporting all our NW Iowa area kids! Sioux Central has entered 39 events, and overall there will be an estimated 430 performances. It takes a lot of volunteers to pull this off! If you sign-up as a Room Chair or Door Monitor you can also watch the performances. If this is something you are interested in, awesome! If not, no worries!

Science Fair today - Monday, February 12 - Freshmen in Mr. Trierweiler's science class have worked hard on their projects. Judging took place this morning. This afternoon from 1:00 to 2:30 the public is invited to attend and see the student projects.
