Fifteen Sioux Central students traveled to Iowa Central for the Twin Lakes Conference Art Show on Tuesday, March 25th. Each student got to attend two different art workshops put together by the TLC art teachers and ICC. Jazzmin received 3rd place for her non-acrylic painting and Nataley received an honorable mention! Congratulations to all SC students that got to show off their art at the show! As the juror mentioned, you were all selected to go for a reason.

Sioux Central Anatomy & Physiology students had the opportunity to visit Briar Cliff University in Sioux City on March 27th. Students had the opportunity to tour their cadaver donor lab. Students were able to see the actual human tissues they had been studying. Additionally, students toured the campus and heard from different programs including nursing and education. They were also able to hear from the strength and conditioning coaches and men's and women's basketball and volleyball coaches. They learned what it would be like to be a college athlete. Briar Cliff provided an awesome and memorable experience for the students.

Congratulations and a job well done to Taylor, Ashlee, and Natalie!! All three performed at All-State Speech today at UNI in Cedar Falls and had a fabulous day!! All of the coaches are so proud of the hard work they put in all throughout this season to earn this honor! Taylor was a double nominee this year (non-performing in her Solo Musical Theatre), so she got to be recognized in the opening ceremony! These ladies were glad to have some student spectators along to support them.

🐝 2nd Grade Pollination Walk – What a Wonderful Afternoon! 🌸🦋 This afternoon, our 2nd graders wowed us during their Pollination Walk with thoughtful presentations and creative displays all about pollinators. Students shared what they learned through oral presentations, set up in both the upper pod and their classroom, creating a vibrant, science fair-style experience. From colorful posters to confident speaking, their hard work and excitement truly shone through. A huge thank you to Mrs. Rusk and Mrs. Tunink for guiding and supporting students throughout this project! The results were incredible! Thank you as well to all the families, staff, and students who stopped by to support our young scientists! It made the event even more special! Take a look at the photos included to catch some of the magic! 📸👇
