The Sioux Central Character Development and Leadership class has accomplished a very successful clothing drive. These hardworking students have fully organized and executed many service projects over the course of this semester. These clothes went primarily to Love Takes Root. Love Takes Root is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting children in Haiti. Special thanks to Barb Wilkerson of Love Takes Root for coming to speak to this class and inspiring them to get involved; Tom Howe, for reaching out and being able to pick up the clothes that were collected; and the community for donating all these clothes to help support this clothing drive and allow it to be possible.
