Last week, Mr. Goodchild and his industrial tech students visited Ranco for a tour and a live demonstration. The students saw the different work areas and witnessed each work area in action through the process of building a cell phone holder. Each student was given a manufactured cell phone holder, too! What a great experience! Thank you, Ranco, for sharing your time and expertise! #SiouxCentral

7th & 8th graders recently completed research projects on a topic of their choosing in English. The final project was picture book. Students voted on honor books for each grade. Staff and students were then invited to vote on their favorite book to name the 2022 Sioux Central Caldecott Honor Book. Lelan Bolte won for his book, The History of Kermit the Frog for the 7th grade. Andrew Nelson and his book, Angus: Based on a True Story, won the 8th grade class. Congratulations boys!

Delish Central head chef, Lexi Nicol served a delicious, cheesy tomato pasta bake paired with a doughy garlic knot. A crisp green apple, cranberry, cashew salad topped with homemade vinaigrette was her side. For dessert, her guests enjoyed a tasty cream cheese coffee cake.
