Spotlight on Rebel Alum: Kinnick Fahrenkrog
Sioux Central graduate Kinnick Fahrenkrog will represent the North Team in the 53rd Annual Iowa Shrine Bowl on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The game will be played at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with kickoff at 4:00 PM. You can watch the game live at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKqH1QbfEQo.
The Iowa Shrine Bowl is an annual event that features 92 of the best high school football players in Iowa. It is more than just a game; it supports an important cause. To date, the event has raised nearly $4 million for Shriners Children’s. Leading up to the game, players and cheerleaders attend camp to prepare, build lasting friendships, and learn about the positive impact they can have on children facing challenges. A highlight of the week is the Shriners’ Children Mini-Camp, where hospital patients join the athletes on the field for games and activities. The week concludes with a parade on Saturday morning, followed by the big game in the afternoon.
Let’s show our support for Kinnick and celebrate this incredible opportunity to represent Sioux Central while helping make a difference for Shriners Children’s. Watch live on July 19 at 4:00 PM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKqH1QbfEQo.
