Middle school students in Mrs. Morris and Ms. Standley's May Term class added some color to our building by painting ceiling tiles for their teachers (current and past)! The ceiling tiles were placed in the classrooms and will be there for these students to see their hard work for years to come. Students really enjoyed this fun project!

Congratulations Mr. Jeff Scharn and Mrs. Connie Marshall on their retirement from Sioux Central Schools. Scharn had 39 years and Marshall 27. Thanks for your years of dedication at SC.

Sioux Central Band Parents (& Students),
As we are coming to the end of the school year I wanted to say that I am proud of all the students for their musical growth this year. The 5th, 6th, JH, & HS Bands put on amazing concerts this spring. Thank you for supporting your child in their musical journey. Please encourage them to keep playing.
The main focus of this email is to send out the registration form for Summer Band lessons. Summer lessons are still being offered 100% for FREE during the month of June. Each student will receive a 30 minute lesson per week for four weeks starting on June 3rd and ending June 27th. Summer lessons are especially important for 5th and 6th grade students but will be very beneficial to MS and HS students as well. Incoming 7th & 8th grade students will focus on audition etudes for honor band auditions. Incoming freshmen will focus on learning the songs in the pep band binder.
You can register for summer lessons by visiting this link: Summer Lesson Registration If your child is not participating in the summer lesson program, you do not need to complete the form.
I would love to have all registrations in by May 13th so I can build the schedule before May Term. All communication will be done via email and through Remind. Register for remind messages by texting the code @scsumless to 81010. The schedule will be posted on my website.
If you have any questions, please let Mr. Perry know.
