🎉 Wrapping up an AMAZING year or peer mentoring at Sioux Central! 🎉
On Friday our Rebel Mentoring program held their end of the year celebration. From tie-dying shirts to mixing up some delicious popcorn treats, our high school mentors and elementary mentees had a blast celebrating all their hard work and growth this year!
A huge THANK YOU to all our incredible mentors for volunteering their time each week to make a difference in the lives of our younger Rebels. Your dedication and kindness truly shine bright.
Here's to another fantastic year of building connections, making memories, and spreading joy at Sioux Central!

The track meet today will start with field events at 4:00 p.m. (or as close as possible) and running at 4:15 (or close). We will introduce seniors/parents around 6:00 p.m.
Just a reminder...we will celebrate our senior golfers, and track athletes, tomorrow night at the home track meet. We will introduce them, and their parents, before the 400 m dash at approximately 6:30 p.m. Please meet Mr. Vasher at the northwest end of the football field.
Senior Spotlight: Madalyn Forbes
Mady has been in band, jazz band, and choir at SC. Mady says to do music at Sioux Central because "Music is a way to escape reality at school and it allows for a creative environment that also helps with the stress of everyday school". Her favorite song from choir was the "Johnny Cash Medley" and her favorite band piece was "The Greatest Showman". Her favorite memory in the music department was "going on jazz band trips, especially when we visited the National Music Museum in Vermillion." Thank you, Mady!
